Ancient Greece & Ancient Romans


Both of ancient Greece and ancient Romans had religion. In ancient Greece they had Gods and Goddesses. Their was all kinds of gods and goddesses. Zeus is the most powerful of all the gods. Hera was Zeus spouse & had children together. Their children’s names are Ares, Hermes, Hercules, and Apollo. Zeus has two brother. Their names are Poseidon, and Hades. Hera has one sister and her name is Hestia. Zeus shared his great powers with the other great gods. His wife Hera powers are marriage, children, and the home. Zeus brothers are Poseidon, and Hades. Poseidons powers are the lord of the sea. Hades powers are the lord of the underworld. Zeus sons are Ares, Hermes, Apollo, and Hercules. Ares powers are
In ancient Rome there is a lot of Gods and Goddesses. Jupiter was the powerful god of all. He had a spouse her name is Juno. Jupiter has a brother his brothers name is Neptune. Not all of the gods that the ancient Romans worshiped were originally Roman gods. The Romans did a lot of traveling about as they developed their empire. Each time the Romans heard a myth about a god or goddess or deity from the people they met if they liked it, they adopted it and made it their own. When they heard about the Greek gods they adopted them all. The Roman changed many of the Greek god names to Roman names. Zeus became Jupiter. Hera was renamed Juno. Zeus/Jupiter ecame king fo Roman gods.
